Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.
Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Miracle of miracles, George Stephanopoulos asked President Obama about ACORN yesterday morning. I was sure he wouldn't. (Somebody should have taken you up on that bet! - Ed)
Obama's response? He played dumb.
Maybe Barry wouldn't have to equivocate if he wasn't running a seemingly endless TV infomercial for socialized medicine, or if he stopped groveling to the UN in support of unilateral nuclear disarmament, or if he decided that yucking it up with a second-string hack comedian might not be the best use of his time. (Will Letterman make child-rape jokes about Obama's daughters or hint of a Michelle Obama - Ben Roethlisberger tryst?). But that's not his style.
For Barack Obama, "style" is his style.
Style over substance. All hat and no cattle. A boy among men.
It is lovely to feature in other people's dreams. The problem comes when they wake up. Barack Obama is an eloquent, brainy and likeable man with a fascinating biography. He is not George Bush. Those are great qualities. But they are not enough to lead America, let alone the world.
Bloggers are saying Obama's ACORN denial is another "you lie!" moment. But
maybe he's not technically lying. Maybe he really doesn't know.
Which is worse for America — a president who lies, or a president who is
uninformed and unaware of what he doesn't know? What if he's
blustering his way through, too insecure to stop and consider that he's way
out of his depth?
