Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.
Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
The Memeorandum headline includes the word "stunning" — Barack Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize.
In a stunning surprise, the Nobel Committee announced Friday that it had awarded its annual peace prize to President Obama "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."
Stunning? It would only be "stunning" if Obama hadn't been selected by the terrorist-sympathizers who comprise the Nobel Committee. Exactly what worthy accolades accrue to a prize that they gave to Yasser Arafat? Arafat begat Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO; Obama just handed Afghanistan to the Taliban on a silver platter.
Neither man has the best interests of the United States at heart and that's why they're both so beloved in Oslo. Writing at The Corner Andy McCarthy nails it:
After a number of years, the NFL renamed its Super Bowl trophy after its most fitting recipient - it's now called the Vince Lombardi Trophy. I'd like to see the Nobel Foundation follow suit. If today's headlines said, "Barack Obama Wins Yasser Arafat Prize," that would be perfect.
And TigerHawk found the best tweet so far:
Seems Alfred Nobel is to be awarded a posthumous Obama prize
Karl Marx famously said, "History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as
farce." Obama really is the Second Coming ... of Jimmy Carter.
