The Grand Prize is $5,000 in Caldwell Merchant Bucks and $2,000 in cold hard cash! Caldwell Merchant Bucks can be used at more than 35 participating stores and restaurants in downtown Caldwell!

The Gold Rush raffle is the brainchild of Councilman Joe Norton and is enthusiastically supported by Calandra's Italian Village, Cloverleaf Tavern, Luce Restaurant, Amexica Grill, Caldwell College, Dancy Funeral Home, Jack's Super Foodtown, Lakeland Bank, Caldwell Branch, Leezar Sporting Goods, Once Upon a Party, and Foot Solutions among many others. The goal is to generate awareness of Caldwell's great downtown and increase foot traffic for the merchants.

And the buzz is building! Last night the Gold Rush was featured on WCBS-TV News!

The next drawing is this Saturday (November 21^st) on the Caldwell town green at noon. The winner will receive $1,000 in Caldwell Merchant Bucks.

Another drawing, for $1,500 in Caldwell Merchant Bucks will take place on December 19^th, and the Grand Prize of $5,000 in Caldwell Merchant Bucks and $2,000 cash will be awarded on New Years Day. (The starting prize, $500 in Caldwell Merchant Bucks was given away last month at the annual Fall Festival to Caldwell resident Cindy Stone.)
