Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.
Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
The hot air is oozing out of the Global Warming Hoax faster than Barack Obama can make a decision on Afghanistan.
One of the biggest scientific scandals of our age, described in two sentences:
That supposed scientific "consensus" about global warming may actually be a conspiracy. E-mails from a British climate-research organization -- obtained by an Australian magazine, Investigate -- disclose scientists discussing a statistical "trick" to "hide the decline" of global temperatures in their data.
Any of you suckers who still believe there is a "scientific consensus" can take your compact fluorescent light bulbs and shove them up your ass. They might use less energy, but any claim to longer life than a traditional incandescent bulb turns out to be specious at best.
Long before they burn out, CFL bulbs lose up to 40% of their brightness.
The study in Engineering and Technology magazine concluded that consumers were being misled by the bulbs' packaging.
The magazine's editor, Dickon Ross, told the BBC that packaging claims about the power of the bulbs did not live up to what they delivered in terms of people's perceptions of light.
He said: "It may not be deliberate, but because of the standards set, you end up with figures that are exaggerated compared to what people really experience."
So that CFL bulb you bought which said it is a 100 watt equivalent is at best only as good as a 60 watt bulb. And since it costs 10x as much as a regular light bulb, any potential energy savings will be wiped out when it goes dim and you replace it sooner than you expected.
But guess what? Thanks to Al Gore and his fraudulent friends the United States is under Congressional mandate to eliminate all incandescent light bulbs by 2020. 100 watt bulbs are scheduled to be phased out in 2012.
We won't have a choice. We'll have to buy the overpriced and underperforming CFL bulbs. Politics and Junk Science have combined to screw us over.
If you needed any further proof of liberal fascism, this is it. In their zealotry to promote their apocalyptic agenda they falsified the data and fudged the numbers to achieve their desired outcome. They foisted on us a totally new light bulb technology and took away our freedom to keep the tried and true incandescent bulb.
They are the embodiment of Finagle's Creed —
"Science is Truth; don't be misled by facts."
