Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Rule 5 Weekend: the girls of LBI
We spent a lovely week of summer vacation at the Jersey shore on Long Beach Island. Sophie frolicked in the waves and Dad ogled the girls.
Last night we walked up the street for ice cream. Sophie tripped and fell, scraping her elbow. But she insisted that continue on to the ice cream store. Later as I was tucking her in to bed I asked if her elbow felt better and she got philosophical.
"No, what?"
"Getting injured on vacation!"
"And do you know what's worse than getting injured on vacation?"
"No, what?"
"Summer school!"
Heh. No summer school; I'll drink to that!
Then today we saw 2 young ladies walking the beach, deeply interested in
their text messages.
I guess beach texting is still better than summer school!
Fortunately, there are still some party girls around here!
